Innocent and Immaculee Sezibera

Guinea

Innocent and Immaculee passion is to see more churches planted all throughout Guinea and believers fully empowered to bring the gospel to their communities.

MINISTRY FOCUS: More than 87% of Guinea (30 of 48 people groups) is unreached. A gap in healthcare also exists for expectant mothers and children. As a result, the infant mortality rate is almost 20 times higher than in Canada.

In response to this considerable need, Innocent and Immaculee will be partnering with the national church Alleluia Church and global workers, Phil and Judy Bowler, to plant 1,000 churches over the next ten years, targeting these unreached people groups. They will also be heavily involved in helping with the operation of the Sonfonia Health and Training Centre, a pediatric clinic and training center for both pastors and lay leaders.

While living in the capital city of Conakry, they will specifically seek to reach the next generation, disciple new believers, and care for those in need all across the country. They will engage in Bible studies, planting house churches, ChildCARE Plus, disciple-making movements, and missions training programs.

IMPACT: You will help train believers in Guinea to become Spirit-filled witnesses of God’s love to their communities. You will help thousands of children receive quality healthcare services that they desperately need—all in Jesus’ Name.

MINISTRY HISTORY: Upon graduating from a Pentecostal Bible college in the DR Congo, Innocent pastored for over 10 years in both the DR Congo and Rwanda. He then became the secretary general of the Association of the Pentecostal Churches of Rwanda (ADEPR) for six years. After moving to Canada, He served as the assistant pastor at Gospel Centre Pentecostal Church in Edmonton, Alberta for two years. He then planted Goshen Christian Assembly in the same city. Immaculee has recently been a healthcare aide, who cares deeply about people’s holistic wellbeing. Both of them have worked bi-vocationally while pastoring at Goshen Christian Assembly. A few years ago, the Holy Spirit stirred in their hearts to go back to Africa. In obedience to God’s call, they are ready to minister to Guinea.

Prayer Focus
  • For God to open the hearts of more people in Guinea.
  • For God to provide more ministry partners to walk alongside them.
  • For God’s favour to be upon them as they begin a new life in Guinea.
